Key findings from this year’s entries have concluded that there has been a rise in the number of new businesses applying, as well as a wide range of different business sectors across the borough wanting to get involved. Meanwhile, the response to the public vote category has been phenomenal. All the results have proven that business is still thriving in the local community despite economic uncertainty and that more and more businesses believe that the Merton Best Business Awards play a vital role in their future success.
Diana Sterck, CEO of Merton Chamber of Commerce said: “With the highest number of entries ever, we are looking forward to what promises to be an exciting and lively Awards event at the prestigious All England Lawn Tennis Club. I would like to thank all of those who entered and who have been nominated – Merton has a wonderful range of businesses in all sectors, and we are proud to be associated with them.”
