The 2024 Merton Best Business Awards officially launched yesterday, with a new set of categories to not only recognise and promote excellence, innovation and best practice in Merton - but to reward the innovators, the success stories and the entrepreneurs.
Whether you are a homebased business or a small, medium or large employer, there is a category for you.
The awards this year are:
- Sport and Fitness Business of the Year
- Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award
- Independent Business Award
- Hospitality Business Award
- Best New Business
- Freelancer of the Year
- Charity of the Year
- Business Leader of the Year
- Employer of the Year
- Best Enterprising Business
- Online Retailer Award
- Best in the Creative Sector
- Sustainable Impact Award
- Contribution to the Community
- Best Customer Service Award – Public Vote
Thinking about applying?
- The competition is open to all businesses based in Merton, that commenced trading prior to January 2022. If you are part of a national business, you should have a significant business operation in Merton.
- The one exception to this is Best New Business which is open to all businesses in Merton who commenced trading after January 2022.
- The Charity of the Year Award is the only category open to charities, who should be based in Merton. If you are a national charity brand, you should have a significant operation in Merton.
- You may enter up to two categories. In addition to this you can also enter, or be nominated, for the public vote category.
- The awards are FREE to enter!
